What is this?

Kara-Oke! Is a VR Karaoke game created for the dutch TV Broadcaster AvroTros. They wanted to create a game with the TV show "De Beste Zangers" In mind.

Group Size: 5 Developers. 4 Artists.

Multiplayer

While Multiplayer didn't make it into the final prototype of the game. It was heavily researched and tested over the span of 4/5 weeks. During this time we tested out a lot of possibilities and features that we wanted to put into the game. Unfortunately due to the amount of recoding that had to be done, we couldn't finish it within the time we had. I would love to revisit this subject considering we did get a VR connection with multiple headsets and moving hands.


Character Selection

When we were still implementing Multiplayer it was essential that we were able to choose our character so that we could distinguish who was who in a multiplayer environment. Even though multiplayer was scrapped, character choosing still made it into the game in a slightly different format.
